Mrs. Rojas is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida, and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCC) as a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Francia received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is an Alumni of Nova Southeastern University, where she obtained her Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology.She has 18 years of pediatric experience in a variety of settings. Francia spent 13 years as an employee of Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
In 2010 she decided to leave the school system and open her own pediatric practice. She specializes in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children and young adults with a variety of diagnoses including Autism, Apraxia, Down Syndrome, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Language Disorders, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), and Developmental Delay. Francia is a firm believer in a child- and family-centered therapeutic approach, and believes that all children can be effective communicators if provided with the proper support.
